Happy birthday to mnemex (today), to whom I owe more than can ever be repaid for friendship, rides and roomshares to conventions and moving help (he is the Zen master of packing vehicles!); and also to odiesdee (tomorrow), who I just learned is engaged to my old NYC crony otherdeb (whom I also owe more than can ever be repaid for friendship, ass-kicking when I needed it and shelter during the early days of my tenure in the Big Apple). In the words of the late Frank Sinatra, "May you live to be a hundred years old...and may mine be the last voice you hear."
