Glenn Greenwald, in his blog Unclaimed Territory, explains here why, despite their policies having been soundly repudiated by voters last month, the neoconservatives who engineered our current Iraq misadventure will remain in control—and our troops will remain in Iraq for at least the next two years—because they still control the one person who can end it and fire their appointed butts: Junior Bush. So much for the will of the people being expressed through democratic (small "d") representation.
