The userpic is actually quite old and it is simply a stock illustration of a birthday cake that I thought was highly appropriate for the kind of folks I'm usually wishing a happy natality on this blog.

I probably could use some keyboard lessons, but I'm afraid that with my level of manual dexterity with any but the first two or three fingers on each hand (i.e., very poor), they wouldn't do me a whole lot of good.
