NEW ORIGINAL SONG for post-Veterans' Day

As another 11th of November fades into the rear-view mirror, I found myself thinking about all the veterans needlessly suffering in our country of late - many homeless, jobless, with maladies and injuries both visible and not going untreated, or poorly treated. Not having any cash to donate to an appropriate charity, I decided to channel my inner Bruce Springsteen and write a song in hopes of inspiring others to donate. The result linked below is a first draft being stored on Evernote; any and all constructive criticism welcomed.
