thatcrazycajunThis is it. It all comes down to today. If you are a US citizen and registered, go to your polling place before it closes today and exercise your most fundamental right as an American...and your most fundamental responsibility. Vote.
And if you want the brakes put on the Bush Regime's growing arrogance and usurpation of powers not granted it in the Constitution; if you want that august document and its Bill of Rights restored to their full effect; if you want an end to industry lobbyists roaming the halls of Congress and writing the laws that regulate their industries; if you want an end to sleazy right-wing political tactics; if you want an end to war for oil, fearmongering and terror-stoking without letup; if you want an end to environmental and worker protections being gutted; if you want disaster response to be better managed so thousands are not left to die because they are poor and/or nonwhite; if you want an end to scientific progress and empirical evidence being stifled in the name of political ideology; if you want to bring back accountability to our federal government and democracy to a nation that is losing it at home while fighting and dying to institute it elsewhere...for the love of whatever god(s) you worship (or even if you worship none at all), vote Democratic all up and down the ticket, especially in U.S. Senate and House races. It's that important.
