D minus one (or two) days and counting
Sep. 1st, 2010 08:23 pmDragon*Con XXIV is just hours away now...and if you're planning to be there and need it, the full Pocket Program is online in various formats here. Tomorrow I go get badged after work, then dinner in the food court and pre-con concerts (Emerald Rose is performing at 7:30 in the Hyatt ballroom level, among others). Then one more day of work Friday and it's back downtown pretty much for the whole weekend (including no less than three concerts by
filkertom Friday through Sunday). Anyone wishing to connect with me can LJ-message me for a cell number, or use Facebook, LJ and/or e-mail as I will have the Vaio with me at all times. (Hooray for free WiFi!)
Daily reports will be posted here as I have time and bandwidth. The only thing that mars the excitement is lacking a certain Songbird to share it with. Love you, sweetie, and wish mightily that you were here. And if you've never heard of the silly thing, or haven't been and wonder what the fuss is about, here is a preview of the local PBS station's brand-spanking-new one-hour documentary on D*C that aired last night.
