thatcrazycajunJust days after his 74th birthday, legendary film/television character actor and director (and photographer, painter and sculptor) Dennis Hopper has died of prostate cancer at his Los Angeles, CA home. The full story is here.
From Easy Rider to Cool Hand Luke, from Gunsmoke to The Twilight Zone, and from Blue Velvet to TV ads for Nike and American Express, Hopper charted his own professional course. Always riveting no matter what he was in, whether a flop or a cultural touchstone, he made sure you never knew quite what to expect from him...but you knew whatever he created would be worth watching.
