Even though I'm not a birthday person, just wanted to say thanks for doing what you do - it is much appreciated, and also I always enjoy your songs - actually, having folks like you to listen to in a circle is one of the reasons I didn't try very hard to break in to the circle at GAFilk.

Coming from someone with your talent, that's a high compliment indeed. Thank you very much...though I'm not sure exactly what it is I do here that deserves thanks besides wishing people happy birthday and running off at the mouth keyboard.

As for the singing, that's just my egotistical tendency to want to sing every chance I can finagle in a circle. I certainly don't want my ego getting in your (or anyone else's) way of contributing; please feel free to run roughshod over me if you want to break in at any circle I'm in. But I'm gratified that you enjoy what I sing, and thank you for your kindness.
