Due to the snow and ice here, Delta Air Lines and AirTran Airways are both reporting cancellations of flights to Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, so any of you who were planning to come down for GAFilk today and have lost your ride, please post here so we know you're okay. If you don't know the status of your flight, I advise you to contact your airline and check before leaving home.

Also, highways and streets here are clogged with accidents due to the snow turning to ice overnight—multi-car pileups, in some cases. The state department of transportation is advising folks not to be on the road unless they absolutely must. Therefore, if you're driving down (or not any longer), we need to hear from you, too. So far, Steve's & my flight out of DC National has merely been delayed from noon to 1:45.

...and just as I typed the above, a new departure time of 2:20 was announced. Stay tuned.
