Tonight's the night to "Light One Candle"

This song is always a favorite of mine around this time of year, Gentile though I am. But as Chanukah's annual festival of lights commences tonight, it takes on a special poignancy in the wake of Mary Travers' passing away earlier this year of leukemia. I repost this link in her memory, therefore, and in celebration not only of the miracle that gave the holiday birth, but of the daily miracles people of all faiths make each day around the world that are mentioned in Peter Yarrow's excellent lyrics. Here's wishing a very happy holiday to all my many Jewish friends...and it wouldn't kill the rest o' yez to give a listen, either.

Interesting...I just started learning guitar. I'm not very far in yet, but have started learning some chords. The first songbook I picked up for it was PPM Around the Campfire, and the first song I am working on is "Light One Candle."
