I logged in tonight and discovered it has been over two weeks since my last post. If you have not seen my Facebook messages, this may have caused you to wonder if something bad has happened to me. I apologize for causing any anxiety; I have been somewhat busy in my hours outside of work, as the Songbird has been home since the next-to-last weekend of September for reasons she has asked me to let her explain to you on her own page, in her own time. Suffice to say for now that both of us are fine and neither of us is in any danger, physical, economic or otherwise.

Meanwhile, both of us offer deepest sympathies to [livejournal.com profile] batyatoon and [livejournal.com profile] sdelmonte, who lost the first child they had been trying so hard for so long to conceive yesterday, after only three months or so of pregnancy. She will also probably tell you more in her own time, so please don't pester either of them for details. Here's hoping the next one comes easier...and stays longer.

So that's where you've been hiding.. I don't have you on facebook. I am Beki_D there. I don't really have much to post, but I am there.

Welcome home to Songbird! I hope the reason for her return is nothing unpleasant. Give her a hug from me.

Adjusting to living together after a while apart must be interesting; it certainly would be for me and Wolf. Good luck with it, and keep reminding each other that you are loved.

Please pass my sympathies on regarding the miscarriage... such an emotionally difficult thing and Batya must be feeling physically miserable as well. When they're ready, suggest that they look at *all* blood factors, not just Rh, for compatibility; my friend Nisha lost her first two children because of a rare incompatibility and her own tendency to nasty blood clotting. Thanks to modern medicine, she now has three children and a fourth is due in a few months. :)

I saw Batya yesterday and she is doing as well as can be expected and asked me to reassure people that she and Alex are doing as well as can be expected. I'll pass on your sympathies.

*hugs*

We missed you at ASFS yesterday, but it looks like you had "good and sufficient reason," as my beloved spouse might say.

:)
