Congratulations to the latest Filk Hall of Fame members

Thanks to about a third of my f-list, I am informed that tonight saw the two newest members inducted into the Filk Hall of Fame at the 19th annual FilkOntario convention in Toronto. Congratulations to Erica Neely (AKA LJ's own catalana) and Frank "U. Scum" Hayes!

What's your favorite song by either or both of them? My favorite Frank tune is in the music tag above; as for Erica, I think I'd have to go with the title track of her first CD, "Not Everybody Dies." (And I still have the distinction of being among the very few filkers who have made her cry with a certain Pegasus Award-winning song of mine.)

Frank... ach, boogiebabe_smap reminded me how much I like his bizong wako "Grandfather Clock", but I think the reeal answer has to be "Never Set the Cat on Fire", because I keep filking it and filking it and filking it again.

With Erica, I think I go with you. I've never made her cry AFAIK, but I have made her laugh. I still owe her mom a performance of "La Belle Dame Sans Merci".
