A belated birthday wish to a close friend—erm, a friend who is close

sffil's birthday was yesterday. Somehow, despite LJ's notification for at least a week ahead, I forgot to make note of it here. For giving me rides to meetings, housefilks and conventions, introducing me to some really good restaurants, and being one of the driving forces behind GAFia and its annual convention, he deserved better. He has gone out of his way to help me have some semblance of a life with the Songbird so far away, and I am grateful.

I hope you had a good time yesterday, Michael. Please forgive me for the oversight.
