Hey, Hal osewalrus! Yeah, you, the Singing Lawyer! :-) ladyat is working on the GAFilk program book and needs a bio on our InterFilk guest. That's you, boyo, and if you want your page in the book to say anything besides "Harold is a really neat guy," you better get in touch with her ASAP, pronto and Right Frakkin' Now. I'd have contacted you privately, but I don't seem to have phone or E-mail info for you.

The con starts one week from today. Barry and Sally Childs-Helton are the Guests of Honor, and Larry Kirby is Toastmaster. Then there's the guy I mentioned above...and oh, yeah, the Super No-Longer-Secret Guests. Who else is coming? Post regrets or squees of anticipation here.

2008 was marked by cons attended. I fear 2009 will be the year of cons missed.

I note that posting *before* sundown on Friday and the on-set of Shabbat would have been useful.

I am well aware that Hal is an observant Jew and would have gladly posted prior to the onset of Shabbat, had I received the phone call from sffilk early enough to do so. He called me to ask the favor of putting Brenda and Hal in touch only minutes before I posted the LJ entry. (The sun had not quite set here, but was well on its way.)

And thank you for being a tad less observant and taking initiative to help Brenda out.
