Oct. 13th, 2006 09:15 amAs my beloved
singing_phoenix enters the homestretch of her sojourn in Kenya working for CDC's Global AIDS Program, I have been listening to a series of enlightening—and appalling—reports by National Public Radio's Jason Beaubien, who has spent the past four years in Africa reporting for NPR on the serious social and economic problems the sub-Saharan region faces.
