...where are you and what are you doing this weekend? I'm in Atlanta, trying to find ways to keep myself entertained since all but a handful of the people I really want to be with are hundreds of miles away (or in one very special case, thousands). [profile] sffilk and I may be taking in the new Indiana Jones film, and there is a media-SF convention here in town called TimeGate, although it is highly likely I will see almost no one I know from around here if I go. (New friends to make, perchance?)

Oh, and I turn 45 on Monday with no idea whatsoever of how to observe it.

And if by chance you are at one of the several cons going on this weekend around the country, feel free to post and let those of us not so lucky what we're missing.

Congrats on the birthday! I have no idea what we're doing this weekend, but it will probably be quiet since I've gotten slaughtered at work for the last three weeks running.

I will be at home all weekend. I don't have class this weekend. My sister, daughter, and I will be making washi books so that I can auction them off to help pay for her exchange program this summer. If I have the time, I will make some glycerin soap too.

Jason's birthday is the 27th. I'd invite you, but you are a bit of a ways away. We are going to BBQ and have chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, and chocolate ice cream. (notice a theme there?) Please note we will not be grilling the cake or the ice cream ;)

I hope your birthday will be the best one yet, even if you haven't figured out how you want to celebrate it.

Well,

To celebrate your birthday, I might either take you to dinner or have you come up with me to my sister's place for roast beast (if I can get a good-sized one at a good price).

In the meantime, here's an early gift: click here

Turn 45s! Get a phonograph, if you don't have one, and play some 45 rpm platters.

I've got a HS graduation this Saturday and a BBQ with my father on Sunday. Nothing terribly exciting.

Wishing you a very happy birthday... so happy in fact that I must commence wishing it now so it will be ready by Monday :-)

Happy!!!!!!!! Birthday!!!!!!!!!

I'm in the same boat you are, dear. I'm in NOLA, trying to find ways to keep myself entertained. With gas prices at near $4/gallon, can't afford to go anywhere.

Besides, I have to save money to go to Miss Louisiana in a few weeks. Will be blogging and probably podcasting from there.

Happy birthday! I was at Oasis; thanks for remembering that one. Sometimes it feels like we fans in Florida get forgotten...:-(

We never heard back from you, but the Keltic Kudzu concert was lots of fun.

Happy Birthday!
