But, yeah. My natural habitat, even then, and I was barely old enough to remember Apollo 11 sitting on the pad. (1986? oh, heck yeah. The machine room was my favorite place... it was loud but it was cool, both in the temperate sense and in the sense of being among all the *toys*... after midnight, the campus Xerox 9700 laser printer was my personal, private playtoy. Well, OK, I hadda share the queue, but as soon as my stuff got printed, I could hit the dump button and retrieve my English paper while it was still hot. *grin*)
