So there's, like, actual stuff happening around here this weekend!

There seem to be not one, but two conventions in the general area of where I am at this weekend: a gaming con of some sort called EconoCon, and a more general-interest-looking one called Frolicon. Both are being staged in Norcross, a bit to the north and east of Atlanta proper. I seem to recall crystalgee  mentioning that she would be going to a con with that name...might this be a chance to see an old friend or two after far too long? Looks like it might be worth heading out past Spaghetti Junction for at least Friday evening.

And then there's that Jonathan Coulton/Paul & Storm joint concert Saturday night, for which Your Humble Correspondent and voiceofkiki  are among those with tickets in hand. Anyone else in this neck of the woods want to come with?

Um, Frolicon is not a main stream convention. It is a clothing optional convention.

I've got a writeup of the first Frolicon on my journal, if you want to see what you'd be getting into...as crazy as it is, it had one of the best atmospheres of any gathering I've been to.

Thank you very much for the link, and I did read your entries in question. Even for an old vulgarian like myself, this one seems rather...um...lively. Maybe I'd better wait for CoastCon in a few weeks...
