Today's Meme: Tag! I'm it!
Jan. 21st, 2008 08:11 pmOnce you've been tagged, you have to write a blog w/ 10 weird, random things, facts, habits or goals about yourself. At the end, you choose 10 people to be tagged, listing their names & why you chose them. Don't forget to leave them a comment or message saying "You're It!" and telling them to read your blog. You can't tag the person who tagged you. Since you can't tag me back, let me know when you've posted your blog so I can see your answers.
- I have an extra rib on one side. Freaks the heck outta my doctors, but not much else good that I've seen.
- My goal for the new year, each of the past 10 at least, has been to put out an album on tape or CD of my filk music. This year I still foolishly cling to the hope I will actually get it done.
- I often subvocalize to myself, frequently repeating things I have recently said or heard said (my ex
annezieger used to call this "local echo"). - My first food of the day, no matter what time of day I awaken, must be breakfast food—eggs and bacon, pancakes, cereal, waffles and such—or else I get cranky.
- I was born the same year John F. Kennedy was assassinated and Doctor Who first premiered on BBC television (May 26).
- When I was a teenager, I used to enjoy getting up at 5 AM and watching all the local TV stations sign on for the day. I have no idea why this fascinated me so, and never have.
- Before that, I went through another phase wherein I absolutely loved the taste of sweet gherkins. Never have since.
- Due to that extra rib and childhood-originating scoliosis, one of my shoulders rides higher than the other. This can sometimes give me the appearance of slumping or having a hunchback when I stand upright.
- I have lived with at least seven cats that I can recall over the years, three of whom are owned by my current partner...without ever having owned any myself.
- I own copies of the entire Zach Johnson series of SF/comedy/mystery novels authored or co-authored by John Zakour. (Very fun reads all, btw.)
And now, just because I don't see nearly enough of them in my LJ:

Do you know what your curvature is? I am going to assume fairly mild as I haven't heard you speak of it before.
I don't know how much of my journal you actually read, but I am curious because of Jason, my 7 year old.
