Did I miss anyone?
UPDATE, 12/20, 10:38a: It seems I did miss a few, besides the ones my readers posted in response: Charles Nelson Reilly and Brett Somers (two former regular panelists of the original Match Game TV game show, now being rerun on GSN), Tammy Faye Bakker Messner, Ingmar Bergman and Deborah Kerr. Mea maxima culpa.

Paul Tibbetts, pilot of Enola Gay

Jennifer Dunn, congresswoman (W-WA), maven of cross-party politics.

Eric Blackwell, Charles May, and Todd Ivens, the first casualties of the Civillian Space Program, killed at Mojave when a test rocket blew up

John Backus, creator of FORTRAN

Brad Delp, the voice of the band Boston and co-creator of the finest debut album known to man.

And how the hell did an old space rat like me miss Wally Schirra?

If you're looking for a canonical list, here's the 'Deaths in 2007' page from Wikipedia.

Dave was born in 1950, not 1951. Someone subtracted his age (56) from 2007, but didn't realize it was before his birthday, so the 1951 has gotten spread around.

Apologies for the error, and thank you for letting me know. What was his middle name, BTW?
