I can haz laptop again

thatcrazycajunAfter spending close to $800 out of my savings account and an afternoon and evening spent re-downloading and installing various software packages, I have mostly replaced the stuff that was stolen in my now-forever-lost old backpack, including a new Sony Vaio laptop and headphones, flash drive, car power adapter, etc. And it has 2 GB of RAM as the old one did, with the usual rebate bullshit to wade through.
I can even use the Net from the living room again, where the old machine had lately had some problems. The return to normalcy continues apace...even if my bronchitis and cold, wet weather did causesffilk to cancel our dinner date. Now I just have to find a cheap Xmas tree.
