New Orleans rises again, part deux

And right on the heels of the Superdome welcoming back the Saints, another New Orleans institution hard hit by Katrina reopens: Angelo Brocato's Ice Cream, home of the best cannolis and gelati to be had anywhere outside of the Mediterranean Basin. The photogs at The Times-Picayune recorded the grand re-opening of this longtime symbol of Italian immigrants' contribution to the cultural bouillabaise that is N'Awlins, and the Teep's Webgeeks built it all into a wonderful multimedia slideshow you can see (and listen to) here.
