Doesn't Yahoo!'s software decide what ads to put in that sidebar by analyzing the words in your search query?

So the question that should be on everyone's mind is: what was Matt searching for that led Yahoo! to figure he was ripe to be offered all that evil and corrupting power? I'm betting it had something to do with politics...

Since you asked...I was searching for "humor' on Google and the second listing that came up was Yahoo's Humor Directory. When I went from that to a link for "science fiction, fantasy and horror humor," this page came up:

http://dir.yahoo.com/Entertainment/Humor/Science_Fiction__Fantasy__and_Horror/

And the SAME ad listings are still there, if you can believe it. They apparently resulted from the second listing on the page, "So You've Decided to Be Evil."
