Obama Administration adopts Bush Régime argument against allowing evidence on rendition, torture to be aired in court
Strike one.
Obama himself, in primetime press conference, dodges question on Leahy proposal for Bush years "truth commission"
Strike two.
Obama expected to appoint Chamber of Commerce lobbyist as gatekeeper to the federal judiciary
Strike three. Yer out.
This guy is just Clinton redux, exactly as I feared last November. Not even 100 days in, he's betraying his promises left and right (mostly right)...and those of us who are real progressive Democrats need to start putting major pressure on him NOW to make him reverse these choices.
