One of my longtime favorite columnists, Newsweek's Allan Sloan, gives us a heads-up on what is probably going to be the Republican Party's latest attempt to justify their re-election to absolute control of all three branches of our gummint in a couple months -- and the facts to see past the smoke-and-mirrors -- in his latest column here. I'll be the first to admit that arithmetic has never been my strong suit, but seeing the kind of "fuzzy math" Our Preznit used to rail against in his 2000 campaign coming out of his very own offices makes me feel positively Einsteinian in my numeracy...or at least Heinleinian.
Must. Have. NOW.
