Anti-Hillary momentum builds on the left
Oct. 24th, 2007 05:10 pmCourtesy of Politico.com: A new website called Democratic Courage appears to be attempting to derail the ever-more-unstoppable-seeming freight train that is Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) heading for a coronation as the party's 2008 Presidential nominee. There seems to be somewhat of a bias toward former Sen. John Edwards, but any effort to put a more progressive person at the top of the Dem ticket deserves support.

Both the moderates and the rabids of the right would poke out their eyes before seeing him anywhere near the white house. Of course, there's some on the middle left who feel the same way, so there's not going to be much problem with that possibility anyhow.

Frankly, given his undistinguished record in Congress and his previous failed tries at the Presidential nomination, I've been wondering what the hell he's even doing in the race at all...and why everybody seems to take him so damned seriously, besides the fact that he's been able to raise the requisite gobs of cashola.
