Up or down, who cares (I probably left it up more than Nicolai did back in the days when I used to rinse diapers in the thing.)?

I WOULD hope it does better than some of those rather more expensive auto-flush doohickies you come across in public restrooms on occasion, which seem to have a problem with figuring out exactly when to flush and seem to go off at the most... inopportune... moments. Disconcerting, that.
