shelleybear, I found this entertaining video answer to the Hovind group's actions and YouTube's response. Some rap music does suck (as is true of every genre)...but this doesn't.

Date: 2007-09-21 06:11 pm (UTC)In all seriousness, I think the main reason they were able to get YouTube to pull the pull the videos in question is because of the use of materials that weren't in the public domain or self-produced. I have no doubt that the content was covered under the fair use doctrine and that the Creation Science Evangelism Ministries' claim to the contrary is entirely bogus. But I don't think this particular tactic poses a threat to material like Roy's.
Still, eternal vigilance...
