thatcrazycajunHalle-frickin'-lujah! The AT&T guy finally got here when I could be here, he came in and figured out what the last guy didn't: that the DSL modem itself was broken and needed replacing. This he did, and after long-frustrated weeks, I can use the Net at home again! No more staying out to ridiculous hours at bookstores and coffee shops to use WiFi (and paying for it, some places).
And Comcast is sending someone Saturday to fix their cable so TV can finally be watched in this apartment on something other than a computer screen. Just in time for all the season premieres of network shows next week!
