It had to happen, sooner or later...
Sep. 7th, 2007 11:58 amMy local paper announces that a movie house here is hosting what might be called "The Buffy Horror Picture Show" (in fact, I believe it already has been; see story here) -- or perhaps "Buffy Mystery Theater 3000." They're having two showings on Saturday night of "Once More with Feeling," the notorious musical episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer from a few years back, with audience participation encouraged, even to the point of providing a prop bag to each ticket-buyer with stuff to hold up or toss at key moments. And since the ep was filmed in "letterbox" format (with a wider aspect ratio than normally used on the show, or found on most TV screens made up to then), it lends itself to cinema-screen presentation.
Sing Along With Buffy!
I'm going; anyone else nearby wanna come with?

Date: 2007-09-07 06:03 pm (UTC)Next time to Atlanta, I'm going to Delta. I'll detail the bad AirTran experience in my journal. It's friends-only, but I've added you so you can see the entries.

And I could have told you to fly Delta to begin with if you're coming to/through Atlanta; AirTran is only for when you have to go someplace and absolutely can't afford Delta's fare (or someplace Delta doesn't go, of which there are a few). If you come up here, likewise get ahold of me and we'll plan something. Email is matt leger at earthlink dot net (remove spaces and swap @ for "at" and . for "dot") if you want further contact info, or just hook into Plaxo or LinkedIn.
