Mary's traveling again

...and we had arguments again about me before she left. Why are we still with each other if we spend more time apart than together? Why won't anyone I interview with hire me? Why do I keep making stupid mistakes to sabotage myself if I truly want to work? What the hell should I be doing if I can't make a living in graphics anymore? Am I just a waste of space, food, water and oxygen?

There is a psychological effect involved in taking any job outside of what you do (or would normally want to do).
Sometimes, simply landing a job and working it for a brief period of time increases the individual's self esteem.

So sorry that we lost touch all those years. There's at least one person on this earth that would never believe you were a waste of ANYTHING. You were my friend when I was in the terrible teens, with the greasy hair and the zits. My heart goes out to you!
