A new birth in my family

Happy zeroth birthday to Dylan John Leger, newest son of my younger brother Doug (he's one of the firefighters in my family, along with my Dad who long ago retired from the same city fire department). D.J. was born this past Sunday, 27 July in Lafayette, LA, where most of my family still lives, and is 8 lbs. 5 oz and 22 inches of healthy baby boy. Mother and newborn are both home now with their parents, older brothers Dayne (19 and my godson) and Darien (14) and sisters Dené (10) and Dayla (3). (Yes, the whole family has first names that start with the letter D. It's a thing.)

Congratulations to Doug and his wife Darla...and thanks for helping cover my share of the grandchildren for Daddy.
