Two birthdays very near and dear to me today

My beloved Songbird, singing_phoenix, has a momentous birthday today. She is alone and far from home and family, as you all know, so please do me the kindness of joining me in wishing her many happy returns. Hope it's fun for you, love, and remember that we shall celebrate properly when you arrive here in a couple weeks' time. I love you more than I can possibly express in words.

An old and dear friend, suecochran, also has a birthday today. She has shown me much love and generosity over the years, so I ask the same for her. Thanks, hon, for being you...and I'm sorry we haven't talked as often as I'd like.
