I had to break my personal pledge to observe "Buy Nothing Day" today because I ran out of cough drops and anti-bacterial wipes to clean up after the Humongous Tabby's bad habit of defecating on the floor next to the bathroom litter box instead of inside it. (He's done this even before the other two cats left, and even when the box has been freshly changed, so I suspect it's his little passive-aggressive way of protesting my leaving him home alone so much. He hasn't done it since I've been home the last couple of days, but you never know...)
Darkover Grand Council is going on right this very minute, with many of my friends in attendance, and neither my health nor my finances can support attending.

And LSU's football team lost the game and the national championship tonight in the last few seconds of triple overtime, after tying Arkansas three successive times, on an interception of a third-OT mandatory two-point conversion.
So perhaps it is just as well I'm not around other human beings today; it's hard to remember what I have to be thankful for just now.
