The Search for Work 2007 is OVER!

After what has to be a new personal best for time spent between jobs, my two-week trial at Piedmont Graphics concluded today with the confirmation by the owner's son that I will indeed become a full-fledged employee effective tomorrow. Assuming that my immediate supervisor, the Prepress Manager, concurs, I will be officially back among the gainfully employed. I will be earning the same rate of pay as my last job gave me (to start, anyhow; I have hopes of earning a raise before too long, hopefully in time to help pay for plane fare to Nairobi for the Songbird's birthday) and will have real health insurance again at last, plus a 401(k) plan and the usual other bennies. Even SB says she's impressed with how quickly I got a new job and how hard I worked to get it. Yay, me!
